Winnie the Pooh is a fun film for both young and old. The two different storylines running through this movie are each endearing to viewers. First of all, Eeyore has lost his tail and the gang tries to find something that would be a good replacement for the tail. The second storyline is Owl’s misinterpretation of a note left by Christopher Robin. The note said he would be “back soon,” but Owl took it to mean that a creature known as a “Backson” has taken the boy.
The characters all search for a new tail for Eeyore as well as the evil Backson who has stolen Christopher Robin. Throughout it all, little Pooh has a rumbly in his tumbly, meaning he is hungry for some honey. But in the end this little guy decides that helping his friends is more important than filling his tummy.
The Changes for Winnie the Pooh
This film took two years to create. The filmmakers had to come up with the stories as well as an updated theme song. Wile Carly Simon sang the beloved theme song in the last two Pooh films (2003’s Piglet’s Big Movie and 2005’s Pooh’s Heffalump Movie), the filmmakers decided to go with a new singer this time. Zooey Deschanel’s interpretation of the song is perky and she also wrote and sings several other songs in the film.
