Mickeys Halloween

The nice thing about finding a major Halloween event is that it's a chance for children to truly indulge in Halloween. In this era of rules and fears, kids hardly get a chance to trick or treat in their own neighborhoods anymore. Many Halloween activities have become very sanitized in the past decade, with kids trick or treating at shopping malls or out of car trunks at church parking lots.

Some of these events will give the whole family a chance to revive the fun of Halloween:

Boo at the Zoo

The National Zoo in Washington, D.C. hosts ticketed Halloween parties for four nights featuring 40 treat stations, animal encounters, and festive decorations. This is an extremely popular Halloween party, so be sure to buy tickets as soon as possible before they sell out.
